Like other countries, Burkina Faso has celebrated the World Day Against AIDS on 01 December 2009. The festivities of the day took place in Koudougou (situated 100 km from Ouagadougou). During this ceremony Dr. Joseph Catraye was decorated by the Minister of Health of Burkina Faso, for his unwavering commitment in the fight against AIDS in Burkina Faso and in the region.
