Training Workshop on the WHO Workplanning and Budgeting Tool for Global Fund Proposals Ouagadougou 3-4 July, 2010.
WHO’s HIV Department has developed a workplanning and budgeting tool to help countries prepare proposal budgets and workplans for Global Fund Round 10. This tool has been developed specifically for the preparation of Global Fund proposals in Round 10 and has been endorsed by the Global Fund.
The tool is built around the structure recommended by the Global Fund for preparing proposal workplans and budgets. Workplans are made up of goals, objectives, SDAs and activities. Budgets are calculated at the activity level using a uniform set of input costs. The tool is generic and can be used for HIV, TB, Malaria, and HSS components of Global Fund proposals. The tool is currently available in English, and is being translated into French and Spanish.
WHO will hold a short training Workshop on the tool in Ouagadougou 3-4 July, 2010.
